On 15^th January 2020, the Department of Maritime Operations (IMA) officially celebrated the occasion of being announced as a new Centre for Excellence (SFU) in Norway. University of South-Eastern Norway has been awarded the SFU status for the Centre of Excellence in Maritime Simulator Training and Assessment (COAST) last year in December. TARG has played a vital role in the application process for the center.

 The Rector, institute leaders, MARKOM leaders, program coordinators, students, teachers and COAST key-members at USN were present during the celebration.
