TARG Attends World’s Largest Modeling, Simulation and Training Event
TARG member Steven Mallam recently attended the “Interservice/Industry Training, Simulation and Education Conference” (I/ITSEC 2017) in Orlando, Florida from November 27th to December 1st.
Over the week-long event, Steven attended a variety of presentations and panel discussions led by members of the United States Congress, military commanders, training practitioners, technology providers and renowned researchers from around the globe.I/ITSEC provided an opportunity to learn about and experience the latest technological developments and state-of-the-art equipment for training and assessment applications.
This contributed valuable knowledge and networking for TARG’s and Kongsberg Digital’s ongoing virtual and augmented reality project: InnoTraining. During I/ITSEC, Steven presented TARG and the InnoTraining project to conference delegates, visited the University of Central Florida, and earned continuing education credits through the university’s professional development workshops. TARG looks forward to future I/ITSEC events and keeping up to date on the leading training and assessment technologies and methodologies.
