Soon to be Dr. Mashrura Musharraf presenting work from her PhD research

Mashrura Musharraf visited TARG in Vestfold Norway this January. She is in her final stages of her PhD work with the Canadian research group Safety@Sea at Memorial University of Newfoundland, situated at St. Johns (among other campuses) in Canada.

Mashrura is a computer scientist working on training and assessment. Her research has interface and compatibility with TARG, and her week working together with several TARG researchers was highly productive. Her staying with TARG resulted in extensive knowledge sharing, as well as concrete ideas for collaborative research projects and joint publications.

TARG and Safety@Sea have a synergistic partnership where we openly discuss ideas and research opportunities. We will further strengthen this collaboration with upcoming projects and secondments.

We are grateful for Dr. Mashrura Musharraf stay with us, and we welcome her back at any time.

TARG arranged a goodbye-dinner with Mashrura Musharraf toward visit end
